John Walsh

Managing Director, Intermediary Markets

John Walsh, managing director, intermediary markets is responsible for business development within the global client group and leading the firm’s support efforts for Transamerica Asset Management within the retirement, mutual fund and variable annuity platforms. Prior to joining the firm, John spent ten years at Invesco Ltd, in various management positions with the most recent director, national accounts and wealth management platforms. Prior to that he was an executive vice president, national account manager at Van Kampen Investments for four years. Prior to Van Kampen Investments he was involved in UIT and bond trading at Morgan Stanley and Dean Witter. John has been in the industry since 1992 and started with the firm in 2019. He earned his BA from University of Rhode Island.
