Yannick Ellenbroek

Head of Legal and Regulatory AAM Continental Europe

Yannick Ellenbroek, CFA is the Head of Legal and Regulatory Aegon AM Continental Europe and company secretary. In this role, he is responsible for all legal and regulatory matters in Continental Europe. He is also a permanent guest lecturer at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Prior to his current role, Yannick led the EU/UK Regulatory team, focusing on upcoming rules and regulations. He was also responsible for other legal work, including restructuring of Aegon AM’s branches and fund ranges. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a senior supervisor at the Dutch Financial Markets’ Authority (AFM), primarily focusing on asset managers. Yannick joined the industry in 2010 and joined the firm in 2017. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in International and Financial Economics (with honours) and Dutch law, and Master’s degrees in Corporate Law and Financial Economics (cum laude).
