2025 Ethical Fund Survey: Our screening aligns with investor values
Report on Ethical Investment Survey May 2025

Our 2025 Ethical Fund Survey reveals continued strong support for our screening criteria, with nearly two-thirds (64%) of respondents favouring our current approach across all 12 screening categories. This positive feedback reinforces our commitment to transparent, unambiguous screening that has served investors for over 35 years.

We formally review our ethical screening every two years to ensure our funds reflect evolving societal values and client needs. In the last quarter of 2024 and first quarter of 2025, we asked investors and their advisers for their feedback on our approach to ethical screening. Based on this feedback, we’re making targeted improvements including retiring our genetic engineering criteria and revising our banks criteria language.
