Robin Black

Investment Manager

Bio

Robin Black, investment manager, is a member of the global equities team, with emphasis on the Asian and US markets. He runs the Aegon AM Japanese portfolios and is co-manager of a US Sustainable Equity Income strategy and the Global Equity Income strategy. Prior to his current role, Robin worked for Macquarie Group, where he worked as global head of Pan-Asian sales in Hong Kong. He later returned to London, where he was tasked with establishing a global equity sales team for Macquarie. Prior to Macquarie, he worked for Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, Merrill Lynch and Martin Currie. He has been in the industry since 1995 and started with the firm in 2016. Robin studied History and Economic History at the University of Aberdeen before obtaining an MSc in Project Analysis, Finance and Investment from the University of York. Additionally, he has an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling.
